Another year older but am I any wiser? So much has happened since last year. Most notably baby sister Maddy, who’s not much of a baby anymore.
Pretty soon, it’ll be Christmas. I wonder what I’m getting? Mom and Dad are pretty stingy with the purse strings so I’m betting it’s not a Wii. I’ll be lucky if I get a head of lettuce.
Thanksgiving has come and gone and I’m still stuffed. Of course I wowwed everyone with my presence. They couldn’t get enough of my singing and dancing. Then I showed off my multiplication skills. I don’t think I have to worry about baby sister stealing my spotlight. Not with my talents and looks.
Well I had my first real Halloween experience this year. Last year didn’t count because I didn’t get any candy.
Mom and Dad wanted me to be a lion but I decided that I wanted to go casual this year and wear jeans instead.
Didn’t get to go trick or treating this year. Instead I went to a fall festival. I got to walk around and see lots of people and play some games. I even won some candy. Boy, was I up late.
Next year I want a tough costume. Forget the cutesy stuff, I wanna be a ninja!
I found out that I will be having a baby sister soon. I don’t know if I want to share my limelight. I guess that’s part of growing up.
So I recently had a birthday. That’s right, ladies. I’m one step closer to being legal. Though I still lead the rock and roll lifestyle, I’ve become more contemplative in my old age. Who knew? The guy who claimed he’d never grow up at 1 month old would finally show some maturity 11 months later. Life is funny that way. I can’t wait to see what the next 12 months have in store.
